| Greyt Outdoors originated this coat design specifically for the greyhound body. The style is available in a softshell or fleece coat with or without a hood. It features contoured seaming in the back and a 6" opening for the tail.
The softshells and hardface fleeces offer durable water-repellancy, wind resistance, breathability, stretch, and abrasion resistance. They have comfy fleece on the inside, either hi-loft or low-loft. The coat is also available in fleece fabric.
I use top-quality fabrics and mostly I buy Malden Mills (Polartec) fabrics, because I think they are superior. You can feel the difference by touch--the fleece has softness and "bounce" and doesn't pill or mat down. I also buy fleece recycled from plastic bottles, when possible.
The fleece coats are machine washable on warm, and can be dried on low. The softshells & hardfaces are laminated fabrics and should be washed on cold and hung to dry.
